about

Based on the proposed Anti-Homosexuailty Bill proposed in Uganda in 2009. Homophobia and ignorance on our own turf spells disaster when it is used to control the minds of people worldwide.

lyrics

Intro:
There’s cocaine in the novocaine
That’s why I feel no pain

Hey, if I haven’t made it clear exactly what my mission is
Or which team I’m batting for, for that matter
That’s cool
Cuz shit like that shouldn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things
But I happen to catch a bit of news
That I felt personally affected by
And I just wanted to take a few minutes to address it
Please, if you could, just listen to exactly what I’m saying to you

1:
I’m feeling a wee-bit restless
You shouldn’t expect less than hexes coming in excess
Some recognize me for my optimism
And blowing minds constant with atomic wisdom
If I rock the system, I’m the beacon of hope
The reason you cope, I’m unique to the scope, huh!
I might provoke others with low budgets
Being harassed by dope brothers and throat-cutters (right?)
So butta, Gotta spread it
It gets pathetic when I still see evangelists
Rampant in ignorance, this time around I’ll make em drink camel piss
Cuz we was nice letting it slide
Then one day they went and hit Uganda to wander
Spreading virulent virtues, now our peace has squandered
When Mr. Scott Lively opened his mouth
Why wasn’t I there? I would have been choking him out
For poisoning minds on that anti-homosexual rampage
They on the verge of passing a mandate
To wipe us out
Pastor Martin Ssempa running all thru the villages spreading hype about
Gay men, we fisting and shitting on each other
Using hardcore porn sites as evidence to uncover
People’s hidden fears, straight manipulation
I hate to debate the religious basis, but it’s plain
Look how these people turned out a whole generation

HOOK
I am no stranger to the pain; I know the strain
I’ve grown numb to the pain, novocaine
Unbreakable spirits built with so much pride
I wish they would come attack me for my homo ties

There’s this pushing
and pulling
and pushing
and pulling
Why they still wanna push us to the brink of society

And they’re and pulling
And pushing
And pulling
And pushing
I’m pulling for all pulling the cards of the frauds

2:
I speak for all the tough girls and the sensitive boys
I put the pen to this as way to make sense of this ploy
It’s about the money, ain’t it? You Cot-damn right!
U.S. provides aid to a third world in plight
This means extremists will infiltrate, painting pictures and training
Innocent people to hate, isn’t this equal to rape?
How are gays the enemies when we see what’s at stake?
All we want is to spread love and peace, but these days
So many suffer in silence
Among blind eyes and deaf ears, believe it, I’m fighting for that
Fighting for people to tighten their facts
Sodomy and pederasty don’t equate to homosexuality
That’s a fallacy
So, stop getting it twisted to what it’s all about
You talking apples and oranges; your theory’s in doubt
But now Uganda is rendered into a giant witch-hunt
To take a gay man’s freedom and sell it back, sick ones
Infecting the very fabric of peace at that conference
This angst is constant; the impact is beyond them
The people are the victims, and there’s no one to vindicate
Fathers willing to sentence their daughters in many cases
If she’s discovered to be a lesbian
The power of religion on an ill-gotten mission
If there wasn’t invested interest
You bet the mission of these missionaries would not give a shit
My devotion is unflinching and that’s the premise

HOOK
I am no stranger to the pain; I know the strain
I’ve grown numb to the pain, novocaine
Unbreakable spirits built with so much pride
I wish they would come attack me for my homo ties

There’s this pushing
and pulling
and pushing
and pulling
Why they still wanna push us to the brink of society?

And they’re and pulling
And pushing
And pulling
And pushing
But I got pull; I’ll pull em straight to the pulpit!

They’re pushing
and pulling (I’m sayin’)
and pushing
and pulling
Why they still wanna push us to the brink of society?

And they’re and pulling
And pushing
And pulling
And pushing
I’m pulling no hunches, I run it, take it you want it

Breakdown

Outro:
I hope you caught all that
Shout out to MDJ 009 for helping me put this together
Shout out to… damn what’s his name again?
Oh Yeah! Master Majj, keeping the beats BREATHING, for letting me snatch this effective masterpiece
And especially, Ray William Johnson and his video blog
For truly making that guy look like the ass that he is
Martin Ssempa
As far as I’m concerned, he knows exactly where he can stick it
And that’s all I have to say about that.

And of course, last but not least to you guys listening
I can’t thank you enough for giving this one a chance.
Thank you for…. Ignoring the Known Protocol.
